About Teen Corner

Elmont Public Library’s TEEN CORNER  was created as a   dedicated space for teens in grades seven through twelve to gather    and use library resources.  Therefore, the TEEN CORNER  is reserved for use by teens in grades seven through twelve exclusively: during regular school hours, when school is not in session, on weekends and holidays, and during school vacations. The computers within this room are exclusively for the use of the Library’s teen patrons.

While patrons of all ages are welcome to browse and check out materials from the Young Adult Collection, anyone over the age of 18 who is not accompanied by a teen will be directed to Adult area. Anyone under the age of 12 will be redirected to the Children’s Room.

Those using the TEEN CORNER  must be able to produce valid identification at any time, if age or use is in question.

Thank you for your cooperation!
